Dragon Ball Z Movie 12 Fusion Reborn English Dubbed 12 'Dragon Ball Z: Gekitotsu no Video Game' Set in Bulma's future, the game is Dragon Ball Z's eighth mainline video game, released in Japan on November 26, 2010, and in North America on March 27, 2011. Dragon Ball Z: Gekitotsu no Video Game is the first Dragon Ball Z video game released outside of Japan since Dragon Ball Z: Legend of Power released in the U.S. in 1998 and in Europe in 1999. It was also the first Dragon Ball Z video game released on the PlayStation Portable outside of Japan. Plot Set some time in the future, after the Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z, the game puts the player in the role of a hacker named Goku, who gathers with his friends in New Namek to compete in the Namekian Tournament, a ruthless competition for money and power. Goku discovers that the Namekian Tournament is actually a race between the computer game developers of the Supercell gaming company to develop the top game for the Nintendo 3DS, which, of course, means that they must begin to compete with each other. Gameplay Gameplay is similar to that of the Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Mission Zero video game for the Nintendo 3DS, with the exception of minor tweaks to the battle system. The game features a new battle system that is similar to that of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z game, where the player must avoid attacks by moving around the battlefield or slide under incoming attacks, and keeps track of the health of the characters by turning over cards. Reception Dragon Ball Z: Gekitotsu no Video Game received generally favorable reviews from critics. IGN gave the game an 8.1 out of 10 score.
